Breaking Bad News in the Field

We do our thing literally on the precipace of life and death; we build our EMS response models to catch someone as they are going over the edge. We try, but as my grandfather would say, sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you. I’ve talked before abut how great we are at resuscitations until we actually get the person resuscitated; well, the same thing stands for when we stop the resuscitation. Our job isn’t done when we stop dong chest compressions. Here are a few ways to help who you can when you can.
